Capital One always has the most straight-forward options, it seems. Really love that amount of flexibility. That coupled with the price match, flight disruption/sometimes flight insurance, and price freeze makes me really enjoy using them! It's a shame the other travel portals don't really keep up with that.

I was just in Dallas and the centurion lounge was extremely packed, this one seems to have better snack options as well.

Very informative video. Btw, I read somewhere that you could pay the annual fee using the miles on the card @ 1.5 miles per dollar. Which means the annual fee is about 6,333 points. If you get a SUB of 50K points, that covers nearly 8 years of annual fees - EVEN IF you didn't use the card anytime during all those years.

I want to go to that airport lounge, please because its so luxurious and super modern and cold there.

This is exactly what I needed to see. I just booked my first business class flight, and I've never visited a lounge before. I've been looking for information about which lounge I would be allowed to visit since Copa doesn't have its own lounge but is part of the Star Alliance. You made it very clear who has access. Thank you. I have such an early flight. I hope there's a comfy seat and some hot coffee for me tomorrow morning.

I had 2 Amex that were cancelled unpaid them off and I still can’t get a new Amex card.

The annual fee is now $650, but in my opinion, still worth it.

I have a Venture but it was a product change, I was never able to get the sign up bonus. I wonder if I could apply for a second one. 🤔

I have the Venture X and really enjoy it. My P2 got a pre approval for the Venture so we may pick it up just for the SUB and down grade afterwards keeping the Venture X. It’s a simple and easy to use catch all card

They never pre-approve me for this, but iv wanted it for a while for the easy bonus

Get the United Business card and downgrade the Explorer to the Gateway. Same annual fee, same 2 lounge passes, but you get 5,000 bonus miles annually by having the business and a personal card.

The waived bag fees is worth the AF fee alone and makes this a keeper card IMO. Thanks for the info + video!

I have the Strata Premier & it’s a workhorse. Makes sense to get the Double Cash next after looking at the spending breakdown in my Citi app. The quadfecta easily pays for itself every year. I’m stoked to be in Citi’s ecosystem. I’m looking forward to hearing how it goes when someone makes a claim with Strata travel protections. I’m slightly worried that it will be difficult to successfully make a claim and be compensated.

I love the pay yourself feature so you can use miles to cover the annual fee. I also have the barclay American Airlines aviator red card and that also has great benefits.

I had the united airlines explorer card but I updated my card to the quest card because I have over 5000.miles on united airlines and I feel that you can get better states on the quest card over the explorer card

I am in the same boat and the no baggage fees - is more then the $95 annual fee.

About to pick up the Citi AA Platinum. Ima grab it for the slightly elevated SUB and test out in the first year while the AF is waived if I can 1) Fly enough on AA to keep it around and 2) if stacking with the AA dining and AA shipping portal with my normal spend can get me high enough status.

I don't have any Citi cards yet. I plan to at least 4 of them.

In my experience they like to lie about the upgrade availability if you book more than a basic room. They really don’t want you upgraded to something actually nice and have told me the room I booked is the upgraded version.

Citi is the next issuer I want to break into. Just got a slightly elevated AA card offer so perfect way to enter

Total will start getting citi cards... currently only hold the reward+ card.

That Citi Strata is pretty solid as an every day card.

I just got approved for the altitude go which will pair nicely with my amex blue cash everyday and wells fargo active cash card.

Chase gives you that little Sapphire points multiplier, but Citi just earns better all around.
